Chinese manufacturer Aiko has become the first provider to receive explosion protection certification from TÜV Süd for its ABC Stellar 66-cell dual-glass module. The certification confirms that the module does not constitute an ignition source in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Solitek has revised its EU-produced solar modules. The standard modules now deliver 455 instead of 435 Watts, and the company is introducing a new glass technology. The satin-finish (anti-glare) version achieves 445 Watts. Modules designed for commercial and industrial applications now reach 510 Watts.
