After more than four decades, Udo Möhrstedt is passing the leadership of IBC Solar to his son, Julius Möhrstedt. During a visit to Bad Staffelstein, we spoke about lessons learned, future prospects and how the transition was prepared.

A small house that is fully self-sufficient and powered only by solar energy: That was the approach taken by students at Coburg University of Applied Sciences when they developed their tiny house. IBC Solar assisted with the planning of the energy concept and provided the components.

In the future, IBC Solar will enable citizens to have a say when it comes to its solar parks. For this purpose, the company has now launched its own digital platform.

The Kabai solar park in Hungary, which IBC Solar built, has a capacity of 43 megawatts. Now the company is also concentrating on the power plant business in Poland.
