PV Europe picks of the week – new kit on the block

Mounting system manufacturer K2 Systems is expanding its ground-mount portfolio with two new solutions. The Pi-Rack is a steel support structure for utility-scale projects, while the N-Rack is designed for smaller installations. The Pi-Rack can be configured to suit individual projects, supporting module tilt angles of 15 and 20 degrees and a three-module portrait layout.

Germany-based manufacturer Deyle Technik will launch the Optimus Prime Home Energy Cube residential storage system in June. The system uses lithium iron phosphate battery cells with a nominal capacity of 314 ampere-hours and achieves a service life of more than 11,000 charging cycles.

Solarfox is unveiling the new Nano, a 7.5-inch e-ink display that shows energy data from solar installations directly in the living area. The device is aimed specifically at solar installation companies. The display shows solar yields, current system output, self-consumption and energy flow. 

With Lade One, Mainz-based e-mobility company Lade is launching an AC charging system designed for large-scale charging infrastructure projects. The all-in-one solution supports single- and three-phase charging up to 22 kW. The hardware is prepared for bidirectional charging, with the function to be enabled later via a software update. (nhp)
