The box is paired with the M-ELV battery storage unit and operates independently of the existing inverter, switching between grid and backup mode in under ten milliseconds. In backup mode, it supplies all three phases of the building, with a permissible load current of up to 63 A. Load disconnectors and grid protection switches are integrated.
It is also possible to activate priority-based charging management in backup mode, enabling the charging of an electric vehicle, for example, to be reduced or shut off. Cooling is fanless and the unit weighs just 6 kg. The compatible M-ELV storage system operates with a cell-level system voltage below 30 V, offers 7 kWh of capacity per module, scalable up to 126 kWh, and delivers 5 kW of discharge power per module.
