The company’s pre-assembled PV solution is a scalable, plug-and-play system. The Solarbox can be dismantled quickly, making it ideal for roofs scheduled for renovation or for seasonal use. The system is also designed to lower temporary energy costs for off-grid needs, such as powering shipping containers on construction sites.
Constructed from Magnelis, the system can be installed without roof penetration on flat roofs with membrane, bitumen or gravel surfaces, and on slopes up to five degrees. Installers can order the foldable solution directly from Smartvolt or through licensed partners across Europe. The European-patented unit is delivered pre-configured, pre-wired and ballasted on reusable pallets. A crane lifts the system onto the roof, where it is simply unfolded. Installation requires no more than three installers and a cordless screwdriver. (nhp)
