PV Europe’s top products this week – planning, smart energy and storage

Baywa r.e. Solar Trade has expanded its Solar-Planit planning tool with a range of new features designed to make planning large-scale photovoltaic systems more flexible and efficient. The updates are particularly useful for complex flat roofs, where new options are now available.

Kostal has expanded its Solar Plan planning tool to include visual 2D roof planning. The new feature is designed to simplify installers' work and enable more precise planning of solar installations. With the 2D roof planning function, installers can make an initial assessment of the available roof area.

Ecoflow has introduced a new app-based smart meter for operators of solar installations and balcony power plants. The device measures power flows in real time and allows system output to be automatically adjusted.

The utility-scale platform from Trina offers integrated DC/AC optimisation, robust diagnostics and a compact design, reducing footprint and streamlining installation even for large storage projects. According to Trina Storage, the system's architecture delivers efficient power conversion and optimised coordination between DC and AC components. (nhp)
