One of the most significant enhancements is the ability to upload building drawings, satellite images and drone photos directly into Solar-Planit. This enables precise measurement of building dimensions from these files. In addition, the tool now supports freeform planning for flat roofs, allowing planners to accommodate irregular or non-rectangular roof structures.
Another new feature is automatic exclusion zone detection, enabling the software to identify and integrate areas unsuitable for photovoltaic module installation directly into the planning process. For electrical planning, a circuit diagram is now available that reflects the selected components and can be customised and exported as needed. This streamlines processes such as grid connection applications. (nhp)
