Agrivoltaics Industry Forum 2026 heads to Bordeaux

Conexio PSE is once again hosting its Agrivoltaics Industry Forum this year. On 13 and 14 October 2026, providers of agrivoltaic solutions will meet farmers and researchers at the splendid Château Gassies near Bordeaux to share the latest developments and findings on the dual use of agricultural land. The forum also serves as a platform for dialogue between farmers and the agrivoltaics sector, with mutual understanding on both sides essential if the technology is to keep building on its success.

Business models for agrivoltaics

A central theme will be new and established business models for agrivoltaics. Speakers will show how farmers can either use the electricity from their solar installations on site or market it externally. Regulatory frameworks across the various European countries are a key factor, shaping not only whether an agrivoltaic installation pencils out financially, but also how it must be built.

Alongside the investor perspective, speakers will also set out the viewpoint of agrivoltaics providers, showcasing new and proven technologies that make the dual use of arable and grassland feasible. Outstanding practical examples will illustrate the point, with successfully realised agrivoltaic projects helping bring the benefits into sharper focus.
