More than 2,000 exhibitors from over 50 countries will present solutions for the energy transition in agriculture at this year’s Energy Decentral. Alongside bioenergy, photovoltaics and, in particular, energy storage will be central to the programme. The trade fair for decentralised energy in agricultural operations runs from 10 to 13 November 2026, offering visitors direct access to suppliers and opportunities to discuss concrete projects, including PV systems with or without storage. According to organiser DLG, tickets are now available.
Expanded programme
Alongside discussions with exhibitors, visitors can attend presentations at the Spotlight “DLG Solar Offensive + Energy from the Farm” in Hall 25 at the Hanover exhibition centre. “The Spotlight demonstrates how agricultural enterprises are becoming key pillars of regional energy supply through agri-PV, battery storage and biogas,” explains the organiser, outlining the specialised information programme. “The focus is on integrating these technologies into infrastructure and identifying new opportunities for additional business and greater autonomy – a forward-looking, integrated model with high profitability and flexibility.”

Hall 25 will also host the DLG Expert Stage EnergyDecentral, where experts will gather daily to discuss topics including biogas, photovoltaics and storage, wood energy, combined heat and power, and carbon farming.
Recognising innovation
DLG will again recognise innovative developments and solutions advancing the energy transition in agriculture. The Innovation Award EnergyDecentral 2026 will be presented ahead of the event, with winners receiving an extensive marketing package. All Energy Decentral exhibitors are eligible to participate.
