pv Europe’s picks of the week – patio roofs to perch-free panels

Tesvolt’s commercial battery storage and Tesvolt Energy’s trading software open up flexibility trading to smaller companies. The Forton system links individual battery units into a virtual power plant, with trading handled centrally.

Premium Solardesign’s Solarcube One is a patio canopy whose roof also generates solar power. Bifacial glass-glass modules, developed specially for the product, sit in a cubic aluminium frame. At 3 m or 4 m long, each module spans the full depth of the roof in a single piece.

Rooftech, based in Schönaich in Baden-Württemberg, is bringing the Birdblocker Topguard to the German-speaking market. Clip-on stainless-steel pins along the module edges stop birds from settling, which means fewer droppings to clean off the modules.

Mova’s Lumegret A2000 combines a microinverter, battery and charge controller in a single unit, and the B2000G expansion battery lets households add storage as needed, up to 9.6 kWh. (nhp)
