Hoymiles puts the space saving at around 15 percent compared with conventional storage and says on-site work falls from 46 hours to 10. The unit offers a capacity of up to 2.61 MWh and supports AC voltage classes of 400 V, 690 V and 800 V.
The Hoyultra 2000M is also suited to hybrid sites that combine PV and wind power. Its integrated static transfer switch switches to backup power in less than 20 ms, and both the PCS and the battery are liquid-cooled. It operates at temperatures from –30°C to 55°C and delivers its full rated output at up to 50°C.
Each cabinet has its own fire protection, with smoke and temperature detection, fire suppression, linked ventilation control and explosion venting for every compartment. (nhp)
