Solcliv brings tilted PV to load-limited roofs

Solcliv’s patented substructure holds compatible lightweight modules at a fixed tilt of 5 degrees and adds only 0.5 kg per square metre to the roof load. No conventional ballast or roof penetrations are needed, and the system works with common lightweight modules from different manufacturers.

The tilt leaves a gap between the module and the roof, allowing air to circulate and rainwater to run off. L-shaped profiles stiffen the flexible or frameless modules along their length and tie them into the mounting system. Cable routing and plug connections are incorporated as standard. (nhp)
