Lithium iron phosphate battery

A modular storage unit with 48 volts

A version of the battery with 48 volts and 2.5 kilowatt hours has already been available since last year. Both energy storage systems are compatible with the Victron inverters of the Multiplus 48 Volt series. They can therefore operate in grid-parallel and also in stand-alone systems.

The new lithium battery has a modular design and an integrated battery management system (BMS) as well as a ten-year German manufacturer's warranty. Due to its cycle stability, it is ideally suited as a battery for photovoltaic systems and a self-sufficient power supply. The new battery from Liontron offers high charge and discharge currents of up to 110 amps.

The battery can be interconnected with storage modules of the same design in a 19-inch cabinet, thus enabling expansion at a later date. The battery modules are connected to each other via a jumper cable. If necessary, it is also possible to repair or replace the lithium cell. Communication with the inverter takes place via a CAN bus cable. (mfo)
