The new generation includes four variants (see photo) in the standard format of 1,762×1,134 millimetres. The new modules are available in black and white, each offered as either a single-glass or dual-glass version. The black models deliver up to 490 watts, while the white versions reach up to 500 watts.
Another feature is copper interconnection. Here, Aiko has replaced the conventional silver paste with conductive copper. Unlike silver fingers, which require high-temperature sintering and can put stress on the cell structure, the copper solution avoids thermal stress. According to Aiko, this improves resistance to microcracks, lowers material costs and enhances module sustainability. (nhp)
