KEY 2026 – FuturaSun brings integrated PV range to Rimini

Highlights include the Silk Color range, the FuturaGen PV Kit and modules eligible for Italian PV incentive schemes, all supported by a comprehensive portfolio covering new installations, revamping projects and utility-scale plants.

Silk Color range: coloured modules for architectural integration

The Silk Color range is designed for applications where visual integration is both a technical and regulatory requirement, such as historic centres, protected buildings and BIPV projects.

Silk Nova Red, Orange, Silver and Green Duetto modules, with power ratings of up to 410 W, use n-type cells and achieve efficiencies of up to 20.48 percent, maintaining stable electrical performance even under suboptimal irradiance. The colour finishes enable improved integration on rooftops, façades and shading systems, reducing visual impact without compromising energy yield.

FuturaGen PV Kit: integrated system for residential and commercial plants

The FuturaGen Kit is a turnkey photovoltaic solution combining modules, inverters, energy storage systems and five-year all-risk Italian insurance coverage. This system-based approach supports component compatibility, simplifies design and reduces complexity during installation and after-sales management. The kit can be paired with FuturaPulse hybrid inverters rated at 6 kW and 15 kW, featuring battery management, advanced monitoring and an EPS function to maintain power supply during blackouts.

Incentive-eligible modules

The modules are designed to comply fully with the main incentive mechanisms currently in place in Italy, combining regulatory compliance, electrical performance and mechanical reliability.

The range includes Silk Nova EU, Silk Nova RE and Silk Rhino modules, each developed for specific application contexts and incentive schemes.

• Silk Nova EU, rated at 480 W, are assembled in Europe and qualify for tax credits under the Transition 5.0 plan. Based on n-type half-cut M10 cells, they deliver high efficiency, solid low-irradiance performance and a temperature coefficient of –0.29 percent per °C, making them suitable for residential and industrial rooftop installations.

• Silk Nova RE, rated at 645 W, are designed in line with the requirements of the MASE Director’s Decree of 3 September 2025, featuring non-Chinese assembly and cell sourcing. On request, the module can be configured with an additional NZIA-compliant component, addressing projects that require high supply-chain traceability and access to dedicated incentives.

• Silk Rhino, rated at 455 W, completes the incentive-eligible portfolio and qualifies for Conto Termico 3.0 schemes. It features a reinforced structure with thicker glass and double rear aluminium bars, with certified resistance of up to 7,800 Pa for snow loads and 5,400 Pa for wind loads, as well as HW5 certification for enhanced hail resistance. The module is positioned for installations in harsh environmental conditions, where long-term durability is a key design parameter.

From residential rooftops to large-scale plants: the rest of the portfolio

FuturaSun’s offering at KEY ENERGY will also include:

• standard Silk Nova modules rated at up to 470 W for residential and industrial applications;
• Silk Nova Duetto bifacial modules rated at up to 720 W, featuring a glass-glass configuration to optimise output on reflective surfaces and in ground-mounted plants;
• 200 W revamping modules designed for replacement projects with minimal modifications to existing systems.

The portfolio is rounded out by FuturaPulse inverters and FuturaSun-branded energy storage systems, alongside Sineng 350 kW high-power inverters for utility-scale applications. (hcn)
