SoliTek has confirmed that its modernised production line in Vilnius, commissioned last winter, is now running at full capacity. The upgrade carries the Lithuanian cell-to-module manufacturer through to the next generation of high-output formats while keeping production anchored in Europe.

The principal upgrade is the move from semi-automated to fully automated assembly. A robotic framing station and autobussing equipment have replaced the manual steps that previously drove cycle-time variation. High-precision machine vision and consistent thermal bonding underpin longer module lifetimes, and reproducibility across batches improves accordingly.
SoliTek has dropped externally sourced, pre-cut cells in favour of an in-house laser cutting line, removing a step long associated with microcrack formation during transport. The line is configured around the G12R cell format, whose rectangular geometry raises packing density and lifts module output relative to conventional square wafers.
The effect on cost per watt is direct: throughput is up, manual labour is down, breakage rates are lower and material losses have been trimmed. Today, the line turns out the company's recently launched modules, rated up to 455 W for residential use and up to 510 W for commercial and industrial applications.

Within that portfolio, SoliTek is leaning more heavily on semi-tempered glass (TVG), whose controlled fracture behaviour meets the safety requirements for overhead installations that the German market in particular insists upon.
