The agreement extends a partnership between Axpo in Poland and the Sokołów Group that began in 2016. Under the new deal, Axpo will continue supplying renewable electricity to the company’s nationwide operations, supporting its decarbonisation efforts and expanding the use of clean energy across production and retail sites.

Clean energy for industrial sites and retail network
The electricity will power Sokołów’s facilities in Sokołów Podlaski, Koło, Robakowo, Dębnica, Czyżew, Jarosław, Tarnów and Osie. In addition to energy delivery, Axpo coordinates with distribution system operators, enabling Sokołów to add or disconnect consumption points as needed. The company also provides invoicing data, monitors energy price trends and tracks broader market developments to support procurement.

Services include grid coordination and market data
Sokołów, one of Central and Eastern Europe’s largest meat producers, uses a flexible pricing model developed in partnership with Axpo. This structure allows electricity prices to reflect current market conditions over the course of the contract. Axpo, active in more than 30 countries across Europe, North America and Asia, specialises in energy trading and the marketing of solar and wind power. (mg)
