The company Sonnenkraft has received general building authority certification from the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) for its double glass modules without frames.

Sonnenkraft from Carinthia in Austria is investing 8.5 million euros in a new production line for solar modules for building integration. The new modules are suitable for facades, terraces, carports, fences, balconies or roofing.

Sonnenkraft's flying roof covered with bifacial modules has won one of this year's Austrian Solar Prizes. The multiple use of the surface impressed the Eurosolar Austria jury.
