Four integrated MPP trackers allow the system to work with various roof orientations and in shaded conditions. The unit is compatible with both DC- and AC-coupled PV systems, making it suitable for new installations and retrofits, and provides three-phase backup power. An active thermal management system enables operation at temperatures from minus 20 to 50 degrees Celsius, both indoors and outdoors.
The unit is flood-resistant up to 60 centimetres. The integrated Tesla Home energy management system connects the Powerwall, PV system, electric vehicles and heat pumps. The locally run Opticaster AI software analyses electricity consumption, solar generation and local electricity tariffs. Software updates are delivered over the air. (nhp)
