Energy storage integrator market expected to consolidate

The global Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) integrator market has grown increasingly competitive in 2022, with the top five global system integrators accounting for 62% of overall BESS shipments (MWh), according to latest analysis by Wood Mackenzie.

Solar roof installations fall short of expectations

Since the market launch of Tesla's solar roof in 2016, only around 3,000 solar roofs with a good 30 megawatts of output have been installed. Tesla thus falls well short of its declared goal of 1,000 installations per week. This is the result of an estimate by Wood Mackenzie.
