The new second-generation back-contact module is based on Longi's HPBC 2.0 technology. It features N-type wafers and a bipolar hybrid passivation layer. According to the manufacturer, the Hi-Mo X10 offers improvements in efficiency, mechanical strength and reliability. The module is also particularly durable, with low linear degradation of just 0.35 per cent. The production process for rear-contact modules has been enhanced through a zero busbar structure. Longi uses an intelligent soldering method to create more stable connections than those made with conventional techniques.
In the DACH region, the module will be available in both double glass and glass–foil versions, in 54-cell (490 watts) and 72-cell (670 watts) formats. It can be ordered immediately. All modules include a 30-year performance guarantee. (nhp)
