Qantum O&M software

Ensibo, an independent Hamburg-based provider of O&M services for solar power plants, currently supports photovoltaic systems for investors, asset managers and independent utilities between 250 kilowatts and 50 megawatts. In order to optimise the yield, Ensibo has to process the vast amounts of data that the projects generate on a daily basis – no matter the system type, location or configuration.

Because their customers operate plants with a wide variety of data acquisition systems and inverters, Ensibo base their software on the management platform Qantum by QOS Energy. Some of the installations they manage are complex systems with hundreds of inverters, generator connection boxes and tens of thousands of sensors that every five minutes generate up to 20,000 data points. Qantum continuously collects data from plant monitoring systems and converts it into detailed analyses, dashboards, alarms and events. (mfo)
