Intersolar – Trinasolar to bring new modules, terrain tracker and utility storage

Trinasolar is bringing a broad product update to Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich, with new module generations, utility-scale storage systems and a terrain-adaptive tracker. The Munich showcase also marks 20 years of the company's presence in the European market.

Intersolar Forum 2026: integration and sector coupling in focus

The two new module series both use n-type i-TOPCon Ultra technology. The Vertex S+ G3 targets residential and C&I rooftops, available in a standard version delivering up to 485W and 24.3% efficiency and a full-black variant at 480W and 24.0%, both featuring dual-glass construction and an optimised temperature coefficient of -0.26%/K. The Vertex N G3 is engineered for large-scale rooftop and utility installations, reaching up to 760W and 24.5% efficiency, with high bifaciality and strong low-light performance. Both series are due in the second half of 2026.

On the tracker side, Trinasolar is introducing the Vanguard 1P Terrain+, an addition to its existing Vanguard platform designed for complex and uneven terrain. Using spherical bearing technology and a shrink tube design, the system adapts to convex, concave and wave-shaped site profiles without major earthworks, reducing civil engineering costs and environmental impact.

Trina Storage is presenting the Elementa 3 and Electra 13.8 as an integrated DC+AC battery solution for utility-scale grid applications. Elementa 3 provides the battery platform, with 587 Ah high-density cells bringing container capacity to 6.25 MWh and a 24.7% improvement in site-level energy density over the previous generation. Electra 13.8 delivers the AC layer, with a factory-integrated architecture designed to shorten commissioning time and accelerate project delivery.

"Europe's energy landscape continues to evolve rapidly, creating new requirements for performance, flexibility and long-term value," said Gonzalo de la Viña, President Europe and LAC at Trinasolar. "As we celebrate 20 years in Europe, we also reflect on a journey built on long-term partnerships and a shared ambition to help shape the future of our region's energy transition."

Both module series are scheduled for release in the second half of 2026; the storage and tracker products are available now. (TF)
