Innovation Gallery presents solar, storage and digital advances

A total of 31 projects in photovoltaics, energy efficiency and digitalisation will be presented at the Innovation Gallery 2025, part of the International Electrification and Decarbonisation Week in Madrid. The Genera and Matelec trade fairs will take place from 18 to 20 November 2025 at the Ifema Madrid exhibition centre. Industry experts jointly selected the projects. The jury, composed of representatives from sector associations, assessed the entries based on criteria such as technological innovation, practical applicability and their contribution to the energy transition and decarbonisation.

Among the highlights in photovoltaics and renewable energy are solutions such as the Bauwatch Solar System, which enables off-grid site monitoring with integrated photovoltaics and alternative power supply. Cener will present Asterix-Caesar, an energy storage and production system designed to stabilise the grid and support the integration of renewables. Emica Solar will showcase floating solar systems that generate electricity on bodies of water, helping to avoid competition for land with agriculture or settlements.

Other featured projects include modular PV carports with charging points (Chargevite Oasis), portable and stationary zero-emission generators (Genergy Power Products), and digital platforms for tokenising investments in PV and storage (Suricatoken). Metal Frame Renewables will introduce a new agrivoltaic model that combines crop cultivation with energy generation.

Digital solutions and energy management

In the digitalisation and energy management segment, the exhibition will feature modular protection systems for island-mode PV operation (Combi Pro Max by Toscano Electronic Line), software for planning and optimising PV installations (Elec Calc by Trace Software International), and arc-limiting systems for solar installations (Arcbox by Viridian Solar).
