After a nomination round in September that drew entries from across Europe, the jury has shortlisted companies and individuals who have demonstrated innovation, leadership and measurable impact in driving the energy transition.
The European Solar Awards recognise achievements in five key categories:
• European Distributor of the Year
• European EPC of the Year
• European Developer of the Year
• European Investor of the Year
• European Personality of the Year
“These finalists represent the diversity, creativity and resilience powering Europe’s renewable energy movement,” said Gerard Scheper, CEO of European Solar and initiator of the Awards. “By honouring both established players and emerging leaders, we hope to highlight the people and organisations truly shaping the continent’s clean energy future.”
European Solar Sustainability Award – entries open until 10 October
The winners will be announced at the SMM x European Solar Awards Ceremony, taking place on 3 November 2025 at the Hilton Barcelona as part of the Net Zero Europe – Solar & Energy Storage Summit.
Public voting
From today, industry professionals and the wider public can help decide this year’s winners by casting their vote online. Voting is open until 20 October 2025 here.
