Panasonic is expanding its range of hot water systems with the new Aquarea domestic hot water heat pump. The system combines a heat pump with an integrated hot water tank and uses the natural refrigerant R290. The Aquarea domestic hot water heat pump is available as both a floor-standing and wall-mounted unit.
SMA presents the E-Charger for solar-optimised charging of electric vehicles. It combines solar and grid power to charge electric vehicles up to 50 percent faster than standard wallboxes and is available immediately. The charger is controlled via the Sunny Home Manager 2.0, and installers benefit from easy integration into SMA’s Home Energy Solution and automatic upgrades for new functions.
The new Luna2000 ESS series from Huawei Fusionsolar offers flexible storage capacities of 107, 161 and 215 kilowatt-hours and delivers maximum efficiency with a charge and discharge power of up to 108 kilowatts. The system achieves a round-trip efficiency (RTE) of 91.3 percent, establishing a new industry standard.
BYD Energy Storage has introduced the Battery-Box HVE, its first integrated home storage system. The unit pairs with BYD’s single-phase or three-phase Power-Box hybrid inverter. The Battery-Box HVE is available in two module sizes, 4.2 kWh and 6.4 kWh, which can be combined within a single tower. (nhp)
