eSystems wallbox brings digital grid compliance

In the event of impending grid overload, the wallbox can reduce the charging power of an electric car to 4.2 kilowatts, as stipulated in Paragraph 14a. The central component is a CLS adapter, which receives control signals from the grid operator and forwards them to the wallbox via the EEBUS standard. The wallbox implements the EEBUS LPC (Limitation of Power Consumption) use case, enabling continuous limitation of power. Functionality has been verified in tests.

The CLS adapter recently received certification from the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). PPC, the developer of the adapter, is a cooperation partner of eSystems MTG. GhostOne was designed as a white-label wallbox, with a design that can be adapted to brand identity. According to the manufacturer, the wallbox is already used by several automotive manufacturers.
