The Varitector PU AC series includes components for 35 mm DIN rails as well as 40 mm and 60 mm busbar systems. For TS 35 rails, Weidmüller offers VPU AC lightning and surge protection devices in Type I, II and III versions, designed according to network topology and system voltage.
The arresters are tested according to IEC/EN 61643-11 and are intended for installation in systems compliant with IEC/EN 61643-12 or DIN EN 62305-4. Decoupling between Type I, II and III is not required, according to Weidmüller. VPU AC I and VPU AC II components are available as monoblock versions or with pluggable arresters for replacement.
