The Helio-Protection series is notably compact at just 22 by 85 millimetres, allowing manufacturers to significantly reduce space requirements in combiner boxes, inverters and other components. The HP20P fuses have been specifically developed for solar arrays with a large number of modules connected in series.
They are available for currents from 20 to 60 amperes, all within the same housing size. A key technical feature is the low minimum breaking capacity – just 1.35 times the rated current – enabling safe interruption even at low fault currents. This boosts operational safety in applications such as generator junction boxes, inverters and battery charge controllers. The HP20P series is already certified to UL248-19 and UKCA standards. (nhp)
