Vireo Ventures invests in early-stage European companies active in generation, grids, storage and applications for mobility, industry and real estate. “Investment in grids is essential for Europe’s security and competitiveness. Electrification is not only a climate objective, it is a geopolitical necessity,” says Felix Krause, Managing Partner at Vireo Ventures.
The firm has previously invested in Encentive, Atmen, Green Fusion and About:Energy. These portfolio companies provide scalable solutions in grid optimisation, heating decarbonisation and charging infrastructure, and several have already secured follow-on funding, partnerships or industry recognition.
