Under the new partnership, Wallbox Chargers products will be sold as part of Svea Solar's solar range. This will complement users' home energy ecosystem and enable more people to switch to electric vehicles in the future.
According to the manufacturer, Wallbox Chargers' AC chargers are equipped with Eco-Smart as standard. This energy management software, allows users in the home to charge the electric vehicle with self-generated solar energy. Via the Wallbox app, users can choose whether they want to charge their electric vehicle with 100 per cent green electricity from their home solar power system or combine surplus solar power with grid electricity. Through the partnership between Svea Solar and Wallbox Chargers, Ikea customers will soon have the opportunity to make their everyday life more environmentally friendly. (nhp/mfo)
