Solar roof element that achieves 120 watts

It still has a cover width of 1,800 millimetres and the Tegalit variant has a cover length of 338 to 340 millimetres, depending on the model. This is because the solar roof elements can each have six Tegalit roof tiles.

In this way, the modules blend perfectly into the roof environment. They turn a protective roof into a utility roof that generates environmentally friendly solar power and also impresses in terms of design and appearance. Weighing just ten kilograms, the solar element is actually lighter than the roof tiles it replaces. This is because each Tegalit tile from Braas weighs 5.5 kilograms.

Each module contains 22 monocrystalline solar cells, whose black colour gives the roof a uniform appearance. The system is approved as hard roofing and fulfils all requirements with regard to fire resistance, rain protection and rear ventilation. (mfo)
