The project is expected to reach ready-to-build status within two to three months and is designed to deliver fast-response flexibility and grid support, enabling more effective integration of renewable generation. The system offers two-hour duration, which can be extended to four hours, and is scheduled to become operational by the fourth quarter of 2026. An option to expand storage capacity from 300 MWh to 600 MWh was secured at the time of purchase.
