Tesvolt presents 500 kWh Powercore G2 storage for C&I

The new Powercore G2, which is built on Whes hardware and uses LFP battery cells from CATL, currently has more than 1,000 installations worldwide. Tesvolt procures individual components, conducts technical due diligence and integrates its own software, including the gateway, energy management system and Tesvolt Energy Controller. All data communication is fully encrypted, with updates delivered via controlled interfaces.

According to Tesvolt, the combination of Chinese hardware and in-house software reduces overall system cost. For peak load shaving applications, the company reports payback periods of around four years and returns of 20 to 25 percent. It also highlights support for multi-use applications and dynamic electricity tariffs. The outdoor system will be available from May 2026. (nhp)
