Interfaces including RS485, LAN and digital and analogue inputs and outputs allow inverters, battery storage units, heat pumps and wallboxes from various manufacturers to be connected. Protocols such as REST API and MQTT enable integration with higher-level energy management or smart home systems.
The Home Manager Pro is mounted on a DIN rail in the distribution box and is designed for new installations requiring a comprehensive feature set. The Home Manager Plug-In is more compact, faster to integrate and suited to retrofit applications. Both versions are operated via app or browser.
The base version includes self-consumption optimisation, real-time monitoring, manual scheduling, grid-supportive control and the use of dynamic electricity tariffs. The paid Pro subscription adds an AI-supported operating mode with weather forecasting, advanced wallbox control, peak shaving and, in due course, support for bidirectional charging. (nhp)
