The Aster 5000 features twelve clusters, each containing four modules with 314 ampere-hour battery cells, and offers a discharge rate of 0.5C. Weighing 42.5 tonnes and rated IP55, it operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -40 to +50 °C. Its single-door design allows for back-to-back installation, boosting power density by 35 percent and reducing space requirements by 40 percent compared to the previous Aster 3720 model.
The Aster 5000 integrates the manufacturer’s active balancing technology, which extends battery life by 10 percent. It also includes advanced thermal management with four intelligent operating modes: cooling, heating, circulation, and automatic fluid refilling. (nhp)
