Greece – Juwi finalises sale of 156 MW solar parks to Mirova

Once commissioned, the plants will generate around 300 million kWh of clean electricity annually. Plans call for the installation of 243,500 bifacial modules, 480 string inverters and 9,100 single‑axis trackers across 257 hectares. The four projects are located in the regions of Kozani and Grevena in north‑western Greece.

Helapco: “We’re boosting the self-consumption sector”

With the transaction and follow-up contracts, Juwi reaffirms its strategy of combining in-house project development with the acquisition of advanced project rights – an approach successfully applied in major projects such as the 204 MW Kozani solar park, the 267 MW Domokos portfolio and the 223 MW Pike project in Colorado. According to Takis Sarris, Managing Director of Juwi Hellas, the company has completed M&A transactions worth more than half a billion euros in Greece over the past five years. (hcn)
