172 MW solar park developed in Southern Romania

The Iepuresti Solar PV Park is currently 100 % owned by Nofar Energy (Israel). The project is expected to get commissioned in 2024. It is located in Giurgiu in Southern Romania, close to the Bulgarian border.

Nofar Energy recently granted the extensive civil and electrical works to the international service provider CJR Renewables, based in Portugal.

470 string inverters to be installed

Key project details include:

- Installed PV modules: 286,680 units (600 W)

- PV structures to be mounted: 2P12 (389) / 2P24 (5,778)

- String inverters to be installed: 470 units

"This represents not only a partnership with a new client but also an expansion of our footprint in Romania with our 4th solar project in the country. We are truly excited about this collaboration for the Iepuresti project“, Regional Manager, Bartosz Sobolewski of CJR Renewables said.

CJR Renewables also does all civil and electrical engineering tasks for the construction of the Ghimbati and Bulbucata 146 MW solar plant in Giurgiu County. (hcn)
