Ten years ago, the landscape of module manufacturers in Germany was colourful. Up and down the country there were production facilities, in the Bitterfelder Bogen Germany even had its very own solar valley.

Today, PV-panels made in Germany are rare. Aleo is one of the few companies which is still undertaking their complete production in Germany.  The company is celebrating their 20th birthday, which – in the rather young solar industry – is a mature age. In their history, aleo can claim several industry leading innovations such as the launch of a monocrystalline Perc module with 60 cells and 300 watts of power back in 2015.

aleo panels are installed all over the world, even in the toughest places. You can find aleo panels on alpine mountain peaks, on Islands in the eastern sea and even in antarctica, where they are withstanding intense wind loads and temperatures. Aleo customers claim that they find it highly reassuring to know that the same panel they built on their homes roof can withhold such conditions.

Apart from the on-roof Sector, aleo sees a tremendous potential in the BIPV sector. The integration of solar energy is a central column of sustainable and future-proof architecture. To fill the need aleo has not one but two different solutions in their portfolio.

The In-roof system Solrif® replaces classic tiles! The solar modules are installed on the same level as roof tiles for an aesthetic look. Suitable for practically all kinds of pitched roofs, with same requirements and construction as for tiled roofs. Of course, Solrif is just as rainproof as the weather skin that forms a conventional tile roof. The panels come in two different sizes and blind modules help to achieve very homogenous looks.

Aesthetic and highly resistant, the Elegante solar glass is the perfect solution for building integrated photovoltaics. It features a solid construction with 2 x 4mm safety glass, including architectural certification (abZ from DIBt). It allows to cover terraces, carports as well as integration into a building’s architecture.

Owners of aleo modules can rely on quality and durability. This reflects in the comprehensive warranty packages.  All Premium products by aleo have a 25-year product and power guarantee included to provide a carefree solar experience.
