The new module is designed for glare-sensitive applications such as airports, highways and dense urban areas, where reflected light can affect pilots, air traffic control and drivers. Authorities are increasingly requiring dedicated glare assessments in such environments, prompting installers to seek technical solutions. Eurener’s response is a module with a matt glass surface, offered in a power range of 450 to 500 W.
It features an anti-glare surface based on deep microtextured glass, reducing visible reflection to below 2% and minimising visual interference in sensitive environments. Balancing glare reduction with high nominal power is a key technical challenge, Eurener says. The module targets PV projects in regulated and highly visible environments, where safety, social acceptance and urban integration are as important as power output. (nhp)
