According to the company, Powerphast, the Photovoltaic Array Sizing Tool, provides precise, continuously updated simulations based on advanced data models. The system is designed to map the expected performance of PV and storage systems realistically, taking into account how energy is actually generated, consumed and stored.
Key features include calculating energy production based on orientation, tilt and expected irradiation at the site, as well as optimised storage sizing aligned with customer requirements. Planners can download reports and system configurations and compare different scenarios. The tool accesses an extensive module database and uses geolocation data to estimate annual energy yield.
