Software for planning PV systems in a new version

In the now released version, new climate data for Germany are provided. On the basis of area-wide weather data from the German Meteorological Service (DWD) from the years 1995 to 2012, Valentin has created a data set that contains a TMY file for every square kilometre in Germany. These data sets are available to PV Sol customers at no additional cost.

There is also something new in the wiring check between solar modules and inverters. Among other things, PV Sol premium 2023 has introduced a check of the maximum short-circuit current of the inverters. This value can now be stored in the database. The wiring check ensures that the maximum short-circuit current of the inverter is not exceeded. In addition, the power consumption of a heat pump system can also be imported from the sister programme GeoT Sol as a load profile.
