The newly introduced bluelog Neo combines computing power, cybersecurity features and a flexible software licensing model. At the core of the system is a new hardware architecture with an internal A/B system for fail-safe software updates, bundling power control, monitoring and energy management functions in a single device. Two physically separated Ethernet interfaces isolate the internal plant network from external communication systems.

Up to 100 devices can be connected for monitoring, including during active power control operation. An integrated secure element (FIPS 140-3 Level 3) and secure boot protect sensitive data. Certification to IEC 62443-4-2 and compliance with the Cyber Resilience Act are scheduled for 2027.
The PV Control, BESS Control and Hybrid Control licensing options allow different plant types to be covered. The bluelog Neo remains compatible with the physical interfaces of the previous blue'Log XM and XC generation, and configuration backups can be migrated.
