The Swiss energy company MET Group has been active in the Polish market since October 2025 through its new Warsaw‑based subsidiary MET Polska. It is the group’s 21st international operation, focusing on energy supply for businesses as well as the development and operation of PV systems with battery energy storage (BESS).

Licences secured and first contracts signed
MET Polska already holds all the necessary licences for its operations in Poland and has signed its first customer contracts, in effect since October. According to MET, Poland is among the Central Eastern European markets identified by the group as particularly promising for PV and BESS projects. The opening of the Warsaw office highlights MET Group’s ambition to establish a lasting presence and actively support the country’s energy transition. (mg)
