Soprema integrates PV and water retention in one roof assembly

Of the two systems, the Cube retention elements are designed for flat roofs with extensive green roofing as well as for gravel roofs, providing a retention volume of up to 76 litres per square metre. The pressure-stable Aquares elements are suitable for solar green roofs, intensive green roofing and surfaces that can be walked or driven on. Their retention volume exceeds 78 litres per square metre, and up to three layers can be stacked where required.

Retention roofs store rainwater and release it into the drainage system gradually, easing pressure on local sewers during heavy rainfall. Paired with solar green roofs, they allow a single surface to integrate energy generation, biodiversity and rainwater management. Soprema also offers matching waterproofing and insulation build-ups.
