LplusD leads innovation in scalable solar carports

LplusD’s innovative design eliminates costly processes such as breaking up surfaces, excavation, disposal, formwork and concrete work. In addition, it helps minimise the risk of conflicts with existing drainage systems or power lines. The system’s foundations are pre-fitted with empty conduits to facilitate grounding and power supply. Hot-dip galvanised steel supports are continuously adjustable in inclination, allowing for compensation on uneven ground.

For the load-bearing structure, LplusD makes use of glulam purlins, enabling spans of up to five parking spaces and maximising the efficient use of available area. Customers can select either trapezoidal sheet roofing or a proprietary waterproof substructure specifically developed by LplusD for glass-glass modules. According to the company, a 100-metre-long carport can be assembled by three installers within three to four days. Delivery and installation services are also available. (nhp)
