Longi delivers 1 million PV modules to Naturgy

These bifacial modules feature a 21.3% efficiency rate, along with Longi’s gallium-doped technology, which is designed to reduce light-induced degradation and extend the modules’ power generation long-term, particularly. The Spanish multinational energy utility firm Naturgy plans to install the modules at upcoming projects in four project locations across the country, in the regions of Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura and Andalusia.

Jorge Barredo, Managing Director of Renewables, New Business and Innovation at Naturgy, said, “The scale of this new agreement with Longi reflects Naturgy’s ambition for renewables in Spain this year. Longi’s solar technology also offers us an exceptionally efficient and durable performance,. This is a key factor in building out Spanish photovoltaics and competing with traditional power sources.”

PV modules expected to deliver this year

David Sánchez Escarti, Longi´s General Manager Spain & Portugal added, “We are very honoured of our long-term partnership with Naturgy that was started in 2018.
