The smarter E Europe Restart:

We will be broadcasting live from Munich!

With an end to Covid-19-related lockdowns in sight, a return to normality seems more and more possible. Yes, The smarter E Europe trade fair had to be cancelled in June of this year. Nevertheless, there will be a reduced edition in less than two weeks from 6 to 8 October 2021: the Restart edition in six halls at the Munich exhibition centre.

For the first time, the trade fair will take up the topic of hydrogen and present it in a separate area. Supported by trade associations of the still young hydrogen industry, the main focus will be on green hydrogen from wind power and solar energy. The spectrum of topics ranges from Power2Gas and electrolysis to storage technology, fuel cells and the use of hydrogen as an energy carrier, for example in mobility.

Follow the Restart live

We as well as our German-language trade media photovoltaik and ERNEUERBARE ENERGIEN will support the Restart in a special way. Due to special hygiene regulations from the health authorities, our popular guided tours will not yet be possible this autumn. So our video teams will fan out on all three days of the fair to document the companies' innovations and broadcast them online live from the fair studio.

This way we will be able to allow all those of you who have to or choose to not attend to be a part of the event anyway: The videos of our PV Guided Tours @ The smarter E Europe will be delivered online immediately after filming is completed. This allows us to open up the exhibition halls to a much wider and international audience than the limited in-person presence would allow.

CEO Talk: exciting interviews

With the new video format CEO Talk, we will also offer exciting interviews with important players in our industry and track down the latest trends. In this way, The smarter E Europe becomes a mix of personal encounters on site and virtual participation - in both German and English.

In 2020 and 2021, we were tirelessly on the road with our PV Guided Tours to bring solar industry professionals up to speed on what's new - despite cancelled trade fairs and events.

More than 500k views

Our videos of the PV Guided Tours of 2019, 2020 and 2021 have so far been accumulated over half a million views. And bear in mind: Youtube only counts the direct views. Embedded videos are not counted, so the number of actual views is probably considerably higher.

Of course, the number of hits grows over time. In other words, the longer the videos are online, the more often they are viewed. This has to do with the distribution mechanisms of online search engines. But not only that. We present the videos on our social media channels, use them permanently on our website and in our newsletters.

Finding and addressing viewers

A video does not find its viewers simply be being uploaded. For that to happen, it takes a strategy and the mastery a whole range of online and social media. We think that our numbers speak for themselves.

The numbers also show that media behaviour is changing. With our PV Guided Tours, we have obviously proven that complicated technical content can be conveyed to experts in an entertaining way.

And that being said, here come the PV Guided Tours @ The smarter E Europe at the Restart in two weeks. We are returning to Munich. These three days will certainly exciting. Curtain up, let the show begin! Also subscribe to our Youtube channel and don’t forget to click the bell if you want to be notified as soon as we upload the next PV Guided Tours @ The smarter E Europe video. And even if you are coming to Munich, we all know that it is very very difficult to be everywhere at once. So let us help you out and show you what you may have missed.(mfo)
