R.Power has signed a loan agreement under Poland’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan, strengthening its large-scale solar development pipeline in the country. The company secured up to PLN 206.7 million (€49 million) from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK). The financing will cover eligible investment costs for the Żary–Marciszów photovoltaic project, including grid-connection infrastructure.
CCE Romania’s Alexandru Matei Fatu on unlocking solar potential
The project will have a total installed capacity of up to 127 MW and is located in the Lubuskie Voivodeship in western Poland, with construction scheduled for 2027–2028. According to the company, the project supports its strategy to expand utility-scale renewable generation and increase the share of clean energy in Poland’s power mix. The financing is provided on preferential terms under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. (mg)
