R.Power contracts 470 GWh of Polish solar power with Cisco

The cooperation centres on four solar energy projects in Poland: Wydartowo, Bieżyce, Ostrzeniewo III and Nowy Zagór III. Together, they will deliver a total of 470 GWh to Cisco Systems, Inc. over the 15-year agreement. The VPPA, targeting a commercial operation date in 2027, underlines Cisco’s commitment to renewable energy. Evan Scott Brown, Renewable Energy and Utilities Manager at Cisco, notes that the agreement goes beyond green energy by supporting a more decentralised and resilient energy infrastructure, while also meeting operational needs, including the expansion of Cisco’s laboratory facilities in Krakow.

Facilitated by Net Zero Consortium for Buyers
